PASTOR
Pastor Doug Tolson served as a Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor for several years. Before becoming the Senior Pastor at Winona Park UMC in 2018.
Pastor Doug serves with a heart for every age group, from the oldest to the youngest member of the Winona Park fellowship. He has a fresh approach to ministry that has brought excitement to our church. He is a strong supporter of missions, locally and throughout the U.S.
Pastor Doug's moto is "Preach God's Word, Love God's people and let God lead you through everything else"
Lay Leader
Naida Tanner is our primary representative, role model of Christian discipleship lived out in the church and in daily life. She works with the pastor and the congregation to fulfill the mission and vision of the our church.
Choir Director
Jeff Nelson leads Winona Park UMC Choir using a mix of traditional, modern and praise music. His expertise has created harmony and joy at Winona Park UMC for over 25 years. Since the pandemic we haven't been able to have a choir, but we are lead in worship by our new Praise Team (Vocals: Jeff Nelson, Rebecca Ragsdale and Pastor Doug. Instrumentals: Andrea Weaver on Piano/Keyboard and John Weaver with a variety of percussions.
Children's Ministry
Joyce Arnold and her team pray, love and teach children in the church through age appropriate Bible study, fun activities, music and seasonal productions.
Lori and Jane Logue lead the Wednesday night activities
Donna Turner and Courtney Barber teach Sunday School -- "Trackers of Truth". Emily Fraley leads Children's Church.
Adults
Our adult Sunday school class is led by Larry Barber, Larry's class includes men and women of all ages; they study the International Sunday School lesson and meet in the Social Hall.
Youth Leader
Under the leadership of Sam Mehr, Youth are back together again on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 and Wednesday nights From 6:30 to 7:30. With enthusiasm for the Lord, we enjoy music, fellowship, games and bible study.
